What Is a Transfer Memorandum?
The Transfer Memorandum is the official YEIDA document permitting the transfer of a plot from the allottee to the buyer. It follows PTL and precedes registry — think of it as the authority's signed go-ahead for your sale.

What If the TM Expires?
Registry must be completed within 90 days of TM issuance. If the window lapses, YEIDA provides an extension process — but it costs extra fees and delays your title. We recommend lining up stamp duty, funds and both parties' schedules before the TM is even issued.
